Red Insight is hosting the Creative Media Retreat, a 3-day program for (ex) sex workers to slow down, connect and collaboratively create one powerful media piece. This could be a short film, zine, podcast, poster series or something hybrid, to be decided by the group.
What it's about
This retreat is not just a training event. It’s about being together, in nature and exploring how we want our stories to be told. It’s an intimate gathering in a peaceful house surrounded by nature, designed to be warm and informal so you can take part in whatever way feels right. You’ll get hands-on experience with writing, filming, directing and visual storytelling, with time to rest, walk or sit by the fire. The programme includes a relaxed sauna, optional massage and time for informal creative moments.
Who it's for
Open to all (ex) sex workers. No media experience required. We welcome complete beginners as well as those with more experience.
